Job summary

Camelot Care Center in Logansport, IN seeks a Respiratory Nurse to join our pediatric-focused facility. The role focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing pulmonary diseases while ensuring high-quality resident care and safety.

You will work to maintain restorative nursing care, communicate with management, and educate residents and families on treatment goals. Leadership duties include supervising unit staff and coordinating care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Indiana license as RN or LPN required.
• Experience in nursing services administration, rehabilitation, or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Experience or training in pulmonary/respiratory therapy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of residents.
• Ensure restorative nursing care measures are performed as ordered.
• Maintain open communication with nursing management about unit conditions and staff/resident concerns.
• Explain treatment goals to residents and families and obtain feedback and cooperation.
• Supervise and manage personnel on the unit.

About the Role: Camelot Care Center is seeking a Respiratory Nurse to-

• Provide for the daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the residents.
• Assure that restorative nursing care measures are performed as indicated and ordered.
• Maintain open communication with nursing management regarding conditions on the nursing unit and concerns related to staff, residents and visitors.
• Explain treatment goals and expectations to the residents and family, in an effort to obtain feedback and cooperation.
• Supervise/manage personnel on his/her unit.

About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• A graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State of Indiana as an RN or LPN.
• Experienced or trained in nursing services administration, rehabilitation or pediatric nursing.
• Experiencedor trained in pulmonary/respiratory therapy
