Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Sales Senior Specialist to build relationships with pulmonologists and other healthcare professionals, driving patient impact across Indianapolis, Terre Haute, and surrounding areas.

You will manage a territory and promote respiratory products in a compliant, scientifically grounded manner. The role requires 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with respiratory focus, travel up to 75%, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech or equivalent sales experience.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy, distribution channels, and/or HUBs.
• Must have Respiratory Sales Experience
• Ability to travel up to 75%; must reside in the assigned territory.
• Candidate must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan and promote respiratory products to HCPs in assigned territory.
• Monitor performance against objectives and support planning with company tools.
• Lead compliant product discussions with health care providers to align needs with products.
• Demonstrate expertise in Patient Access Programs and Specialty Distribution Models.
• Maintain accurate HCP activity records in CRM for territory planning.
• Develop expertise to provide key insights and tailored customer interactions.
• Stay knowledgeable on approved product information, disease states, and marketplace.
