Job summary

Catholic Health’s Good Samaritan University Hospital on Long Island seeks a Respiratory Equipment Technician to support respiratory therapy by cleaning, stocking, and maintaining equipment and oxygen cylinders across the hospital.

Responsibilities include cleaning, maintaining airway management boxes, and coordinating inventory replenishment; prior inventory experience is preferred, but trained candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in inventory management preferred but willing to train candidate.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, decontaminates and reassembles all Respiratory Therapy equipment according to department policy and procedure.
• Stocks and maintains adequate supply of oxygen cylinders throughout the hospital.
• Requisitions departmental inventory and stocks appropriately in the department and in various locations.
• Stocks and maintains airway management boxes.
• Performs other related duties, such as cleaning and maintaining department.
