Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking an entry-level Respiratory Care Technician to support daily operations across the hospital's respiratory care equipment and supplies. You will set up, monitor, and disinfect equipment, maintain supplies, and document procedures.

You may perform EKGs and assist with calibration and routine tasks under department policies. This role provides hands-on training within HTM collaboration.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program.
• No prior experience required.
• Entry level position.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, monitors and maintains routine respiratory care equipment across the hospital.
• Cleans and disinfects equipment according to procedure; documents usage for all ages.
• Maintains respiratory supplies, checks expirations, restocks as needed, and transports gas cylinders as required.
• Identifies and retrieves electrical equipment due for calibration and delivers to HTM on schedule.
• Performs EKGs on nursing units covered by Respiratory Care Department.
• Other duties as assigned.
