Flint Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Respiratory Director to lead our Respiratory Therapy Department and specialized ventilator program.
Flint Ridge provides ventilator, tracheostomy, oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and other specialized respiratory services within our skilled nursing setting.

Provide leadership and oversight of the Respiratory Therapy Department
Oversee respiratory care for ventilator, tracheostomy, and other respiratory residents
Supervise, support, and develop Respiratory Therapists
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and competency validation of respiratory staff
Coordinate department scheduling and ensure appropriate respiratory coverage
Ensure ventilators and respiratory equipment are maintained, inspected, and used appropriately
Monitor clinical documentation, treatment plans, and respiratory protocols
Collaborate closely with nursing leadership, physicians, administration, and the interdisciplinary team
Participate in care planning and help ensure strong clinical outcomes
Maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, and facility standards
Help identify opportunities to strengthen and grow Flint Ridge's ventilator and respiratory program
Promote a positive, accountable, team-focused culture
Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program
Active Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner license required
RRT preferred
Ventilator and tracheostomy experience strongly preferred
Previous respiratory leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and leadership skills
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, LTAC, hospital, or other respiratory-focused setting is a plus
