Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking an experienced pediatric ICU RN to join our critical care team. We offer training pathways for RNs with adult experience and a comprehensive orientation to pediatric care.

Benefits include a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified applicants. The PICU features 40 beds with expansion and access to ECMO, transplants, and research, supported by educators and preceptors to ensure competence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN license (or other eligible state).
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required at time of hire; PEARS or PALS acceptable in lieu of BLS for certain areas; ACLS not accepted as substitute.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, family-centered patient care using the Nursing Care Process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Nurse Technicians, LPNs, CNAs and others as defined by state regulations.
• Support Continuous Performance Improvement (CPI) and safety initiatives in daily work.
