An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Technician to join their team. This transitional role is perfect for students or recent graduates from an accredited respiratory care program. Under the supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner, Manager, Director, and Vice President, the Respiratory Care Technician will deliver direct patient care. This position is transitional, intended for students in an approved respiratory care program or recent graduates who have not yet passed the NBRC exam. The role allows limited practice of respiratory care. The technician must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care, understanding the physical and psychological needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. They should be able to assess patient data and interpret information to ensure quality care.
Type: PRN, As needed
High school diploma or equivalent. Maintains enrollment and has successfully completed at least six (6) months of an AMA-approved respiratory care program accredited by the JCRTE.
- BLS Certification
- Demonstrated problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical computations.
