Job summary

Asante is seeking a Respiratory Care Tech 1 to support patients in critical care, general medicine and the emergency department under the supervision of an RT. This role emphasizes teamwork and the seamless operation of the Respiratory Care Services, with a focus on critical care patients.

Entry-level opportunity with required BLS on start, EMT certification, and preferred CMOT/PHTLS credentials. 0.9 FTE on 1st shift (days) with calculated hourly differentials and weekend premiums in Medford,

Qualifications

• No experience is required.
• BLS: Basic Life Support is required upon start.
• EMT: Emergency Medical Technician certified by Oregon Department of Human Services or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians is required
• CMOT: Certified Monitor Technician is preferred
• PHTLS: Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support is preferred

They work as a team member and help promote the functioning of the Respiratory Care Services Department with an emphasis on Critical Care patients.
• They work in conjunction with the Mid-Level and Provider and support patient care activities as needed.

Please note: Leadership is willing to accept level 1 or 2 for this position

Salary Range: $23.28 - $32.02

Differentials

• $1.33 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.25 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.16extra for working weekends
