Duke Health is seeking a Clinical Team Lead - Adult Respiratory Therapist in Durham, NC. The role oversees RT staff, coordinates emergency responses, and collaborates with physicians to ensure top-notch patient care across adult and critical care settings.

The lead will mentor team members, develop protocols, and drive quality improvements within the Respiratory Care Services. Bachelor’s in Respiratory Care and current NC licensure with NBRC RRT are required, with supervisory experience valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or related field; degree within 3 years if not yet completed.
• Five years of clinical respiratory therapy experience; 3 years in critical care; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current NC licensure as a Respiratory Therapist and NBRC RRT certification; BLS/ACLS/PALS; NRP if applicable; respiratory certifications to be completed within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, coach, and mentor the assigned staff in RT care.
• Coordinate emergency responses and communicate with RT leadership.
• Develop and update clinical care protocols and policies; evaluate patient care plans.
• Interact with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assist with departmental research projects and equipment evaluation.
