Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a Supervisor of Respiratory Care for St. Joseph's Women's and Children's Hospital in the Tampa area. The role focuses on guiding the Respiratory Care team, maintaining staffing and patient care standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required are RRT with NBRC credential and CPR; ACLS/NRP within 6 months, PALS preferred. Experience in acute care and pediatrics is highly valued, with NICU exposure encouraged.

Qualifications

• RRT with NBRC credential required.
• Current CPR certification.
• ACLS/NRP required within 6 months; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Respiratory Care Manager in supervisory capacity and staff issues.
• Assists with hiring, performance reviews, and coaching; ensures staffing and competency.
• Ensures regulatory requirements are met and drives process improvements.
• Acts as a role model and reports to a Manager over multiple departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
