BayCare is hiring a Respiratory Therapist at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. The role provides respiratory care under physician orders, including invasive and noninvasive procedures, diagnostic testing, and emergency/critical care support.

The position requires an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy, an active RRT license, and NBRC credential, CPR, ACLS within 6 months; PALS preferred. The team emphasizes collaboration, clinical excellence, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Associate's Respiratory Therapy degree required.
• New grads from an accredited respiratory care program are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital or board and functions with independent judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Perform diagnostic testing; and Emergency care/Adult critical care
