Job summary

The Respiratory Care Staff Technician position at The University of Toledo requires enrollment in an accredited respiratory care program and current Ohio Limited Permit. You will perform routine respiratory care under supervision, with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and patient age-specific needs.

The role includes weekend/holiday shifts as part of a rotating schedule. Active BLS/CPR certification is required, and the candidate must demonstrate basic data interpretation and clinical skills

Qualifications

• Eligible for NBRC certification or enrolled in an approved respiratory care program
• Current State Medical Board of Ohio license: Limited Permit
• BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association, active at hire

Responsibilities

• Provide routine respiratory care under supervision to patients.
• Assess data and deliver age-appropriate respiratory care under guidance of manager/therapist
