Kettering Health Network's Main Campus is seeking a Student Respiratory Therapist who is actively enrolled in an accredited RT program. This role provides supervised respiratory care to patients while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of licensed therapists.
You will participate in clinical learning experiences, assist with patient assessments and documentation, and perform other duties as assigned in alignment with our mission and safety programs.

The Student Respiratory Therapist provides supervised respiratory care to patients while actively enrolled in an accredited respiratory therapy program. This role supports the delivery of safe, effective respiratory treatments, participates in clinical learning experiences, and assists licensed respiratory therapists with patient assessments and documentation. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Active enrollment in an accredited respiratory therapy program leading to an associate's or bachelor's degree.Completion of prerequisite coursework in respiratory therapy program as defined by academic institution; no prior healthcare experience required.Current State of Ohio Limited Permit to practice as a Student Respiratory Therapist (must be obtained prior to clinical practice and maintained throughout employment). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to patient contact.
