Mass General Brigham is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide clinical patient care, including initiation, modification, and discontinuation of respiratory therapies for critically ill patients at the Cambridge location. You will analyze patient data, collaborate with the medical staff, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

The role requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, MA license, 3–5 years of experience, and CPR/AED certification.

Formación

• Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy required or Bachelor's Degree Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
• Massachusetts license for Respiratory Therapist required.
• Heartsaver CPR AED preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Initiates and/or assists with respiratory tests and procedures as ordered.
• Responds to respiratory emergencies and transports mechanically ventilated patients.
• Prepares care plans and makes recommendations to physicians.
• Schedules treatments and provides consultation as part of the patient care team.
• Manages all aspects of respiratory therapy per policies and procedures.
• Performs bedside rounds and administers respiratory therapies.
• Educates students, physicians, staff, and patients' families.
• Supervises respiratory therapy students in patient areas.
