Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Care Spec (PRN-Student) to join the healthcare team under supervision. You will provide respiratory care and related tasks per physician orders, assisting with ECGs and non-invasive therapies while following established standards.

This role supports equipment cleaning, disinfection, restocking supplies, and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications include BCLS, an Associate Degree, and NBRC-RRT/CRT eligibility within 6 months of start date.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
• Associate degree completed.
• NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care, such as electrocardiograms and non-invasive therapy, per physician orders.
• Clean, disinfect, and store respiratory therapy equipment; restock supplies.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the guidance of the Team Leader, and/or Supervisor of Respiratory Care, the RCS/Student will serve as a member of the healthcare team by providing assistance with caring for the appropriate patient population. Provide respiratory care, such as electrocardiograms, and, non-invasive therapy, as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices. Perform a variety of duties relative to cleaning, disinfecting, and storing respiratory therapy equipment and restocking of supplies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
• Associate Degree
• (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
