Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Care Spec PRN-Student to support the healthcare team under supervision. You will provide respiratory care, ECGs and non-invasive therapy as ordered, while assisting with cleaning, disinfecting and stocking respiratory equipment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires an Associate Degree and BLS certification, with NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT to be obtained within 6 months of start date.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required.
• Associate Degree.
• NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care as ordered by physicians, including ECGs and non-invasive therapy.
• Assist with cleaning, disinfecting, and storing respiratory therapy equipment.
• Restock supplies as needed to support patient care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Under the guidance of the Team Leader, and/or Supervisor of Respiratory Care, the RCS/Student will serve as a member of the healthcare team by providing assistance with caring for the appropriate patient population. Provide respiratory care, such as electrocardiograms, and, non-invasive therapy, as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices. Perform a variety of duties relative to cleaning, disinfecting, and storing respiratory therapy equipment and restocking of supplies.

What qualifications you will need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
• Associate Degree
• (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
