Shift: 6:45 am - 7:15 pm / Full Time / 36 Hours / WEO
This role defines the Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) who serves as a clinician in inpatient and outpatient areas. Responsibilities include evidence-based practice, participating in department initiatives, and professional growth. The role requires adherence to Emory Behavioral Standards and Service Culture Guidelines, providing Patient and Family Centered Care, and meeting quality & safety goals.
Key duties include assessing unit work, participating in patient rounds, managing ventilators, and supporting the care team. Regular attendance at department meetings and educational sessions is expected, along with participation in professional activities such as product evaluation and policy review. Attendance at respiratory conferences and continuing education are encouraged.
