Job summary

ProMedica in Toledo is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for night shifts (36 hours weekly) with a $20,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates under a 2-year commitment. You will create care plans for patients with severe respiratory issues, evaluate progress, and communicate with the health care team.

The role includes clinical instruction of students and staff and helping orient new team members. Required are a high school diploma or GED, NBRC C/RRT credential, and current BLS; state

• Current BLS certification.
• State license to render respiratory care in OH and/or MI.

Responsibilities

You will also help orient new staff and contribute to the growth of others to strengthen the team.The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. It should not be considered exhaustive.REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED and maintain credential as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).Current BLSMust be licensed to render respiratory care services by the respective state(s) of practice – Ohio and/or Michigan.
