Job summary

The Respiratory Care Practitioner at Dameron Hospital provides cardio-pulmonary services in Baton Rouge per the State Respiratory Care Practice Act and hospital policies. Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Care.
• Current NBRC credential (CRT or RRT) valid.
• Current and valid State Respiratory Care Licensure.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, prioritizing and critical thinking skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardio-pulmonary services per the State Act and hospital policies.
• Administer pharmacological and diagnostic/therapeutic agents related to cardio-pulmonary procedures.
• Implement treatment, pulmonary rehabilitation, and diagnostic regimens prescribed by a physician.
• Maintain safe and aseptic techniques in all procedures.
