Responsibilities

• Performs patient care activities across respiratory therapy modalities following policies and procedures.
• Interprets and executes physician orders and individualizes therapy per patient needs.
• Maintains and calibrates ventilators, monitors alarms, and ensures safety and efficacy of ventilation.
• Documents all care, medication administration, and ventilator settings accurately in the chart.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participates in rounds and communicates changes in patient status promptly.
• Educates patients and families about therapies, devices, and discharge instructions.
