Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient care team in Texas. The ideal candidate will have inpatient hospital experience or a strong willingness to learn, supporting chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care.

Responsibilities include routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, equipment maintenance, and basic phlebotomy/lab testing.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed to practice respiratory care in the state where employed.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in Nevada.
• At least a high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintains all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
