Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team and care for a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital experience or a strong commitment to learn in a fast-paced environment.

The RCP will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, maintain all equipment, and may provide phlebotomy and basic lab testing as required. Current state licensure, BLS, and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
