Job summary

PAM Health seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team caring for a diverse patient population. Our RCPs perform routine therapy, diagnostics and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures in PAM Health hospitals and ensure equipment is kept in working order.

The ideal candidate will have inpatient experience or a strong willingness to learn; possess licensure in the applicable state, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. PAM Health operates over 80 hospital locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• Blood gas procedures may be required where arterial punctures are performed.
• High school diploma required, associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintains all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.

Blood gas licensure (NV)

High school diploma
