Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Nokomis, FL seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. The ideal candidate has inpatient hospital experience or a strong willingness to learn.

You will perform therapies, manage equipment, and support phlebotomy and basic lab testing to help chronically and critically ill patients receive high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cardiopulmonary therapy, diagnostic and emergency procedures for patients.
• Maintains and ensures all respiratory equipment is in good working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
