Gibson Area Hospital in Illinois seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligible candidate. You will perform PFTs, EKGs, ABGs, and ventilator management while supporting home oxygen qualifications and routine respiratory care.

Candidate must be licensed in Illinois, have 6 months of hospital experience, and be able to work alone at times. BLS required; ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire. Training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in Illinois or eligible.
• Six months of recent hospital experience required.
• Comfortable working alone at times.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform PFTs, cardiac stress tests and EKGs; assist with ABGs.
• Ventilator management and home oxygen qualifications as needed.
• Provide routine respiratory care and patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with providers on respiratory therapy plans.

Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligible preferred, licensed in the State of Illinois. 6 months recent hospital experience required; must be comfortable working alone at times. Duties include PFTs, Cardiac Stress Tests, EKGs, Holter monitor placement, (we will train you on the above) ABGs, home oxygen qualifications, ventilator management, routine respiratory care, collaborating with providers regarding all aspects of respiratory therapy.
