Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Illinois seeks a Respiratory Therapist I to provide age-appropriate respiratory care across patient populations, in ER, ICU, medical floors, homecare and clinics, in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requires completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, NBRC credential, IL or MI state license, and CPR-BLS; new grads must pass CRT exam; licensure within six months.

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed Certified Respiratory Therapist by NBRC.
• State license in IL or MI required; NBRC credentials if credentialed after 2002.
• New graduates must pass exam for CRT credential.
• Proof of application for state licensure required before orientation.
• Licensure must be obtained within six months of hire.
• CPR – American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers).
