Job description

Respiratory Care Practitioner – Core Respiratory Therapy at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA.

We are hiring for multiple Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) opportunities at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA. The position is full‑time with variable shifts.

The Department-based Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. He/She will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care. Completion of the department orientation program as well as unit‑specific orientation, as required, is mandatory. This individual assists the Physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy and may operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy. Activities may also include other patient care functions for which he or she is qualified.

$10,000 hiring bonus for eligible rehires and external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Relocation assistance can be provided.

Required Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $35.47 – $57.13 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
