Respiratory Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy Department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA
Location: Spokane, WA. Hiring bonus: $10,000 for eligible rehires and external candidates that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Relocation assistance may be provided.
The Department-based Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. The therapist collaborates with physicians and nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care. Completion of the department orientation program as well as unit-specific orientation, as required, is mandatory. This individual assists the physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy. The therapist may be qualified by training and experience to operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and oxygen therapy. Activities may also include other patient care functions for which they are qualified.

Posted are the minimum and maximum wage rates for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant experience and other factors. This is the base pay range; additional compensation may include shifts, on-call, overtime, premiums, and bonus opportunities.
