Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Respiratory Therapist at Covenant Hospital Levelland to plan, prepare and deliver respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. You will document care, inspect and operate equipment, and assist with patient billing.

The ideal candidate has a degree in respiratory care, Texas license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and about one year of experience. This full-time, night-shift role is based on-site at Covenant Hospital Levelland with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Program or equivalent education/experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care Program in lieu of an Associate's and 1 year of experience.
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS, ACLS, and PALS upon hire or within defined periods.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school or equivalent education/experience -OR- Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school in lieu of an Associate's Degree and 1 year of experience
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• 1 year of experience (may include clinical portion of training program)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in adult and/or pediatric setting
