Job summary

Covenant Health Levelland Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to plan, prepare, and deliver a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies in a night-shift, on-site setting. Documentation, equipment maintenance, and patient billing are included in daily duties. Candidates must hold Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and have at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License required at hire.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS through American Heart Association by hire/90 days.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Care or Bachelor's in Respiratory Care with 1 year experience.
• Plans, prepares and delivers respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies.
• Documents respiratory care on appropriate records; completes patient billing.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school or equivalent education/experience -OR- Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school in lieu of an Associate's Degree and 1 year of experience

• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

• 1 year of experience (may include clinical portion of training program)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in adult and/or pediatric setting
