Job summary

The supervisor will support budgeting decisions and staffing plans while evaluating staff performance annually to promote continuous improvement in patient care.

Qualifications

• Supervisory and leadership experience in a respiratory care setting.
• Ability to manage shift operations and staffing plans.
• Experience developing and delivering staff education and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and manages Respiratory Care operations on the assigned shift.
• Develops processes through orientation, training, and education to ensure staff competence.
• Ensures shift operations run efficiently within established guidelines.
• Assists manager/director with annual budget process and staffing decisions.
• Evaluates staff performance on an annual basis.
