UCHealth is seeking a Respiratory Care Department Leader in Aurora, CO. The role oversees daily operations of the Respiratory Care Main department, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives in a full-time onsite setting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC RRT, state licensure, and 5 years of experience, plus BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP are required from date of hire. The position offers comprehensive rewards and benefits.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree and graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC.
• State licensure; 5 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, NRP required at date of hire.

• Assist with developing specific departmental goals aligned with the strategic plan.
• Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, scheduling, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitor budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts and vendor relations; justify needs for systems/equipment and stock supplies.
• Assess quality of patient care and coordinate with patients, staff, physicians and other departments; may provide patient care when necessary.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and exercise decisive judgment.
