Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead daily operations, staff development and quality improvement efforts. You will assist the department Manager/Director in their absence and manage scheduling, staffing and patient care coordination with the broader healthcare team.

The role requires current Colorado Respiratory Licensure, RRT credential, and 5+ years as an RRT with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist with Colorado registration and RRT credential.
• BS in Respiratory Therapy preferred; AMA approved program required.
• Minimum 5 years as staff RRT with 1–3 years leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and patient care documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist the Manager/Director in their absence and coordinate scheduling.
• Supervise treatment delivery and ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop performance Improvement plans and monitor outcomes.
• Coordinate with nursing and medical staff to optimize patient care.
• Manage supply inventory and equipment maintenance with BioMed.
