Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston is seeking a Respiratory Care Intern to manage department inventory and help resupply oxygen and air cylinders across the hospital. You will work under the Director for Respiratory Services in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires current enrollment in a respiratory program, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Per diem, variable shift, with competitive compensation and benefits options offered.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Student enrolled in a program is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of compressed gas cylinders and respiratory equipment is needed.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision is required.
• Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate inventory levels for all equipment and supplies used by the department.
• Remove small oxygen and air cylinders and resupply full tanks at designated par levels.
• Assist under the direction of the Director for Respiratory Services with workflow as needed.
