Job summary

Qualifications

• State of Maine Respiratory Care Trainee license on hire and maintain current (or expected).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC on hire and maintain current.
• Must be enrolled in a CoARC accredited respiratory program and complete first year of clinical rotations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Assist with assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care.
• Work under the direction of a registered or certified therapist as trainee advances.
