Job summary

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC or obtained within three months of hire.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained.
• PALS certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• NRP certificate upon hire and maintained current.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs the technical personnel, activities, and equipment of the Adult Cardiopulmonary services.
• Provides diagnostic testing and arterial blood gas analysis, including ABG analyzers' quality control.
• Assists day-to-day operations of Cardiopulmonary Department and escalates non-standard issues to Manager/Medical Director.
• Treats patients across all ages and uses mechanical ventilators and related equipment as needed.
