Iredell Health System is seeking a Respiratory Care Assistant to work under the supervision of licensed staff and physicians. The role involves setting up and operating respiratory equipment for diagnosis and treatment, with access to patient information as required by policy.

Requirements include NC-registered Respiratory Care Assistant status, current BLS certification, and a high school diploma. The candidate may perform oxygen therapy, ECG, arterial puncture, and related tasks as trained.

Qualificações

• High School diploma from an accredited school required.

Responsabilidades

• Sets up and operates respiratory care equipment under supervision.
• Interprets and administers oxygen therapy, humidity, and aerosol therapies as prescribed.
• Performs arterial puncture, ECG, and related patient reporting tasks as trained.
• May perform: oxygen supply systems management, equipment processing, manual resuscitation, MDI administration, incentive spirometry, chest physiotherapy, nasotracheal suction.

Requirements

Registered ty the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Assistant

BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

High School graduate from an accredited high school.
