Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered with the NC Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Assistant.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment as prescribed.
• Oxygen supply systems management and oxygen administration.
• Equipment processing and maintenance.
• Manual resuscitation as needed.
• Humidity and aerosol therapy administration.
• Small volume nebulizer therapy administration.
• MDI administration.
• Incentive spirometry.
• Chest physiotherapy.
• Arterial puncture procedures.
• Nasotracheal suction.
• ECG monitoring and patient reporting.
