This position performs all routine respiratory care modalities, sets up or changes oxygen equipment, participates in codes and stat calls, and performs other shift-related duties as assigned or needed.

Preferred:
Past respiratory graduates needing to complete boards are accepted. Graduates are expected to achieve NBRC CRT within 6 months and attempt RRT within 9 months, achieving RRT in no longer than 12 months.
Exposure to stressful situations, trauma, grief, and death. Able to wear PPE including latex or substitutes. Must be able to move freely, perform job functions, and have adequate vision and hearing. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and postural changes required. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, following safety protocols. Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and maintain attendance. Overall dexterity required. Physical demand level: Medium, with lifting and carrying requirements as specified.
