Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Apprentice to support non-emergent patient care under a licensed therapist. You will gain practical experience while enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care program.

You must complete required clinical skills within 90 days and pursue the Nevada Respiratory Intern licensing process as you progress toward RRT credentials. Strong documentation and safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care program (CoARC accredited).
• Completed Clinical Skills Check List within 90 days as documented by a licensed Respiratory Therapist.
• Able to obtain and maintain a current BLS certification by AHA standards at time of hire.
• Must possess or obtain basic computer skills to complete online learning, enroll benefits, and complete policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in non-emergent, non-critical respiratory care under supervision.
• Maintain unit supplies and interdepartmental communication.
• Document patient records cosigned by a licensed Respiratory Therapist.
• Demonstrate infection control, patient safety, and CPR fundamentals.
