Miami Valley Hospital North in Dayton, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to provide comprehensive respiratory care, assessments, therapies, and education. The RT II will coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to promote excellent patient experiences and will maintain compliance with state laws and hospital policies.

The role requires an Associate Degree (or equivalent), NBRC-credentialed RRT, Ohio licensure, and BLS/ACLS/NRP; PALS is required within 6 months of hire.

Description

The Respiratory Therapist (RT II) functions in a skilled role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of respiratory care. The RT II is responsible for the respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education, and communication for all patient populations served. The RT II will coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote excellent patient experience. The RT II is responsible for maintaining compliance with the Ohio Respiratory Care Laws, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional and system policies.
