Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to join our clinical team. The RT II conducts respiratory assessment, delivers therapy, evaluates responses, and educates patients across populations while coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an Associate Degree, Ohio license, NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, and BLS/ACLS/NRP; PALS within 6 months. Preference for Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory care or related field required.
• Applied Science or equivalent degree acceptable for the role.
• NBRC registry eligibility or full credential required for selection.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or considered an asset.
• Licensed in Ohio as a Respiratory Therapist is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessment and administer therapies per care plan.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient experience.

Job description

The Respiratory Therapist (RT II) functions in a skilled role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of respiratory care. The RT II is responsible for the respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education, and communication for all patient populations served. The RT II will coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote excellent patient experience. The RT II is responsible for maintaining compliance with the Ohio Respiratory Care Laws, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional and system policies.
