Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking an experienced MDS float candidate for a full-time role delivering MDS coverage and education across SHC facilities. You will ensure accurate RAI processes, PPS and QM compliance, working closely with clinical teams.

You will travel Monday–Friday with overnight stays as needed, covering centers up to 100% of the time. Mileage and lodging are reimbursed; SHC offers strong benefits and growth opportunities within a purpose-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with ability to obtain multi-state licensures.

• Provide MDS coverage for open positions, educate and implement programs that apply to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), PPS, QM’s, Medicaid Casemix and Medicare guidelines for all SHC stakeholders.
• Assist and collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialist with onboarding of new MDSC.
• Exhibit competency in all areas of the RAI, Care Planning, PPS, Medicare, and when applicable Medicaid Case Mix.

Overview

The ideal MDS float Candidate is very detailed orientated, organized, self-motivated, while still being bedside for resident assessment and meeting with families. The ability to travel Monday – Friday is a must.

How you Will make a difference
