Job summary

United Way Miami is hiring a Resource Teacher II to provide programmatic support to five to nine classroom practitioners, children, and families. You will assist the Center Director with regulatory compliance and Head Start/ Early Head Start standards, ensuring a high-quality learning environment.

Qualified applicants typically hold an associate degree in ECE, with credits and training in child care; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required; 18 credits in ECE preferred.
• DCF 45-hour Child Care Training must be completed within 90 days of employment.
• 15 hours of annual in-service training required to maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Center Director to ensure smooth daily operation of the center.
• Act as liaison between Center Director and teachers; open/close center; report incidents.
