Job summary

The Goddard School located at 50 Seaboldt Way, Chester Springs, PA 19425 is seeking a dependable Resource Teacher to join our team. You’ll support Lead and Assistant Teachers, work with infants through pre-K, build positive relationships, and step into classrooms to provide coverage when needed.

You’ll engage children with age-appropriate activities, assist with meals and routines, and help maintain clean, organized classrooms while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Previous experience is preferred, but training may be provided.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and meet state background checks and credentials.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead and Assistant Teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Work with infants, toddlers, twos, preschool, and pre-K children as needed.
• Build positive relationships with children across age groups.
• Step into classrooms to provide additional support during busy times, breaks, transitions, and staff absences.
• Engage children through play, books, music, movement, and age-appropriate activities.
• Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, naps, and transitions.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and inviting classrooms.
• Support teachers with classroom preparation, cleaning, and organization.
• Follow routines, curriculum, health and safety procedures, and licensing requirements.
• Communicate positively with children, families, and team members.
• Be a dependable team member who is ready to jump in and help wherever needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:
