Position Summary

The Resource Specialist manages daily teller operations, provides exceptional customer service, and oversees branch cash handling. They also assume branch manager responsibilities in their absence to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee Resource Associates, participate in appraisals, and assist in scheduling and training.
• Monitor and delegate office duties, maintain neatness and organization.
• Ensure proper balancing, cash handling, and security procedures are followed.
• Manage vault operations, cash levels, and ATM loading under dual control.
• Perform managerial duties when the Branch Manager is absent, including decision-making and employee coaching.
• Adhere to policies against counterfeit bills, verify transactions, and explain bank services to customers.
• Assist with employee monitoring, resource management, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of Resource Specialist Assistant or 2 years of Resource Associate experience, or 1 year with First Guaranty Bank.
