Job summary

Lake Stevens, Washington-based Special Education Resource Room Teacher position starting August 2026 offers a full-time role supporting students with targeted academic and behavioral goals. You’ll manage a caseload and deliver small-group and individualized instruction.

You will plan, implement IEP goals, and collaborate closely with general education teachers to align supports with the curriculum, while monitoring progress and communicating regularly with families and the school team.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington teaching certification with the ESA credential.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Experience working with students who receive services in a resource room or similar setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver small-group and individualized lessons, implement IEP goals, and collaborate closely with general education teachers.
