Job summary

The Fargo VA Health Care System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Resource Team within the Acute Care Service Line. The position involves floating across inpatient units to deliver care for Veterans on an intermittent/as-needed basis.

Qualifications include English proficiency, an ACEN/CCNE-accredited nursing program, and current RN licensure with state requirements. Previous Med/Surg or ED experience is preferred. Travel/relocation not indicated.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for direct patient care
• RN license current and valid in the United States
• Graduate of an ACEN/CCNE-accredited nursing program or equivalent
• Bridge program pathways or foreign-educated nurses must meet licensure requirements
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN registration in a US state/territory/DC

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients
• Oversee LPNs and NAs per unit standards
• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care across the continuum
• Administer medications and treatments per policies and documentation
