Job summary

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center’s Nursing Resource Team (NRT) is seeking RN candidates to float across Med Surg, Critical Care, and Women’s & Children’s services after orientation. This union, 0.9 FTE, night shifts, will provide staffing relief and support patient care in a fast-paced environment.

External candidates may be eligible for relocation assistance, with additional per-hour differentials and the chance to gain broad experience across service lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• 2 years recent critical care experience within the last 5 years (required for NRT-Critical Care Service Line)
• 1 year recent Med Surg or acute care experience within the last 5 years (required for NRT-Med Surg Service Line)
• 1 year recent Women’s and Children’s experience within the last 3 years (required for NRT Women’s and Children’s Service Line)
• RN: Oregon State Board of Nursing license required upon start
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required upon start
• ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred or required per service line

Responsibilities

• Float between departments within the service line to provide nursing relief.
• Provide gold standard of nursing care using knowledge from multiple specialties.
• Collaborate interdepartmentally to deliver excellent patient care.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and adjust priorities based on acuity, volume, staffing and scheduling
