Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the hospital float pool on nights. RNs will be assigned to various units within their scope of competencies and eligible for an additional differential for the resource pool.

The role requires 18 months of recent hospital bedside RN experience and an active VA RN license. The hospital supports Magnet recognition, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a large health system.

Qualifications

• RN degree required.
• At least 18 months of recent hospital-based bedside RN experience (Med/Surg, IMCU/Stepdown, ICU, or ED).
• Valid RN License to practice in VA.

Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients.
• Rounding checks and medication administration.
• Communicating with family members and coordinating care.
• Maintaining overall patient care and safety.
